Born from The Church of Atlanta. Built to Serve the Community.
Mobilizing Hope. Restoring Lives. Rebuilding Communities.
What Is Hope Hub?
Hope Hub Inc. was born from the heart and community mission of The Church of Atlanta out of a simple conviction: when people are hurting, communities are struggling, and systems are falling short, the Church should be prepared to respond.
What began as our outreach and advocacy ministry has grown into a separately organized nonprofit created by The Church of Atlanta to carry that work further. Hope Hub exists to bring faith into direct contact with the realities facing our communities through compassionate service, advocacy, education, redevelopment, spiritual care, and strategic partnerships.
Our roots remain firmly planted in the Tri-Cities of College Park, East Point, and Hapeville, while our growing footprint now allows us to serve communities throughout Fulton, Clayton, and DeKalb Counties.
We believe hope should be more than something we preach. Hope should have hands. Hope should have a strategy. Hope should show up.
Our Mission
To restore hope, deliver help, and uphold human dignity through acts of compassion, justice, empowerment, community transformation, and spiritual care.
Why Hope Hub?
Hope Hub was created because we have seen firsthand what happens when the distance between need and response becomes too great.
We have encountered families facing displacement, neighbors navigating food insecurity, people struggling through grief and crisis, communities seeking accountability, young people needing opportunity, and neighborhoods carrying the weight of disinvestment and unrealized potential.
Those encounters helped shape a larger vision.
Hope Hub allows us to build an infrastructure of response that can meet immediate needs while also addressing the conditions that create them. Sometimes hope looks like food, clothing, emergency assistance, or pastoral care. Sometimes it looks like advocacy, education, workforce development, housing support, neighborhood revitalization, or bringing residents together to make sure their voices are heard.
We meet the need in front of us while working toward a future where fewer people have to face that need at all.
What We Do
Our work moves across five interconnected areas of community impact:
Crisis Response & Compassionate Care
We respond to urgent needs through food and clothing assistance, crisis intervention, housing and displacement support, grief and trauma resources, addiction and reentry support, referrals, pastoral care, and community-based outreach.
Justice, Advocacy & Civic Engagement
We help communities understand their rights, access resources, engage government, and advocate for equitable treatment. Our work includes housing advocacy, civic education, community listening, legal-resource referrals, public forums, voter engagement, and policy advocacy.
Empowerment & Education
We invest in the capacity of individuals and families through financial literacy, youth mentoring, academic support, workforce development, parenting resources, leadership development, and practical life-skills education.
Community Redevelopment & Creation Care
We believe healthy people deserve healthy communities. Hope Hub supports neighborhood revitalization, affordable housing collaborations, blight reduction, community gardens and green spaces, environmental justice, and sustainable community development. Through Creation Cares, we also mobilize churches, schools, organizations, and neighborhoods around responsible stewardship of the environment and the future we leave to the next generation.
Spiritual Care & Transformation
Our Christian faith remains central to why we serve. Through prayer, pastoral counseling, chaplaincy, evangelism, spiritual development, church partnerships, and community ministry, we seek to bring the presence of Christ into some of life's hardest places.
Our Five Core Pillars
Everything Hope Hub does is organized around five foundational pillars rooted in the spirit of Isaiah 58 and Matthew 25. Together, they keep our work both compassionate and strategic, addressing immediate needs while pursuing lasting transformation.
1. Crisis & Compassion
Meeting urgent needs with dignity and spiritual care.
2. Justice & Advocacy
Prophetically confronting injustice and empowering voices too often unheard.
3. Empowerment & Education
Equipping individuals and families with the tools, knowledge, and opportunities necessary to thrive and break cycles.
4. Community Redevelopment & Creation Care
Restoring what is broken in our neighborhoods while responsibly stewarding the communities and environment entrusted to us.
5. Spiritual Care & Transformation
Keeping Christ at the center of our service and creating opportunities for healing, discipleship, prayer, and spiritual renewal.
From the Tri-Cities to a Greater Regional Impact
College Park, East Point, and Hapeville will always hold a special place in the Hope Hub story. These communities helped reveal the need, shape the burden, and clarify the assignment.
But the need does not stop at city limits.
Today, Hope Hub is building relationships, partnerships, initiatives, and systems of care capable of serving communities throughout Fulton, Clayton, and DeKalb Counties. Our vision is regional because many of the challenges confronting our neighbors are regional as well.
Wherever our reach expands, our commitment remains the same: show up, listen well, serve with dignity, advocate courageously, steward responsibly, and leave communities stronger than we found them.
Hope Has a Home Here.
Hope Hub represents what happens when faith moves beyond intention and accepts responsibility.
It is compassion with infrastructure. Advocacy with accountability. Service with strategy. Faith with its sleeves rolled up.
And through every meal provided, family supported, resident heard, neighborhood strengthened, injustice confronted, young person empowered, and life touched, we are working toward the same vision:
Mobilizing hope. Restoring lives. Rebuilding communities.
